Ruffles, Ryo, and Reputations: Last Call for Seichi Sweetheart! By Nya Cronicles, glitter-proof but not bias-proof
Put down the kunai and pick up the blush brush—today is the FINAL DAY to enter the Seichi Sweetheart Pageant, Seichi’s premier festival of fashion, feelings, and passive-aggressive voting wars.
This morning, Monami—pastry artisan by day, pageant goddess by decree—posted the final call. “Deadline is tonight,” she wrote sweetly, presumably while icing a cake shaped like a tiara. If your sparkliest photo isn’t submitted by midnight, you’ll have to wait another year to emotionally overinvest in this glitter-fueled popularity contest.
Last year, we witnessed one of the most iconic finales in pageant history: a split-vote showdown between Madcrep, the skeletal fashion nightmare we didn’t know we needed, and Katsumi, whose stunning debut sparked admiration, controversy, and a thousand “wait, who is that” whispers. In the end, bones beat blush, and Madcrep twirled off with the tiara, leaving behind only rhinestones, rumors, and mild voter trauma.
So far, this year’s format remains sealed tighter than Dusk’s chakra files. No word yet on whether there’ll be categories (like "Best Dramatic Cloak Toss" or "Most Romantic Use of Shadow Clone")—or if we’ll simply battle it out Hunger Games style, but with better makeup.
Hopefuls are already sharpening their poses and probably their knives. Seichi’s Sweetheart isn’t just about beauty. It’s about strategy, charm, and surviving public opinion alive.
