A new scandal has rippled through the taverns and DMs of Seichi today as dozens of shinobi woke up to a rude awakening:
Their Federal Support (Fed)—gone.
Following an official notice from Neon stating a bug fix was applied to “clean up” lingering federal supports that shouldn’t have been active, a flood of testimonials swept into the community faster than a Genin seeing a free Ryo tag.
Some claimed confusion.
Some claimed injustice.
Some claimed they didn’t even know they were subscribed.
“Huh, I didn’t even know I wasn’t paying,” said Quantum, holder of 18 recruits and apparently zero billing awareness.
Others, like Branks, quickly deduced the reality:
“Looks like he tweaked the code to check if people paid.”
In other words? A full-blown audit.
One player dubbed it “The Great Fed Cleansing,” and that name stuck like a cursed buff.
Meanwhile, Malsz panicked:
“Ayo my fed gone and I'm still supposed to be subscribed until the 30th D:”
Another confessed in despair:
“Well, I’m perma sleeping since I can’t upgrade jutsu with reps.”
Even testing protocols broke down, as users began frantically typing “test” or “safe” into chat to see if they still had benefits—no one knew what they were testing exactly, but it felt right.
Whispers in the shadows (which we are definitely not attributing to Jazu, who goes by they/them and is definitely not the source) say this may be bigger than a mere billing glitch. Some players report having paid recently and still losing Fed. Others, somehow untouched, call it a blessing from the glitch gods.
To all affected citizens:
If you’re missing Fed, make a ticket.
If you were never paying to begin with… you’ve already won.
